A Good War

There was never a good war, or a bad peace.
 - Benjamin Franklin

It's a pity the resentments mankind can hold. These resentments don't do us much good to cling to. We can look around the world and see how resentments can keep men fighting each other for years on end. The effort on war could have been so much better spent on trying to figure out how to cure some diseases, build a better car, or radio, or computer, or _____ fill in the blank.

But we're human, it's normal for us to resent someone that has hurt us.  But we're supposed to be growing, emotionally, we have to get past that. It's time to stop the hate, move along with our lives. We can't and never will be able to change the past.

With the help of our higher power and other program members we can make peace with the world and ourselves.
