This is my simple religion. There is no need for temples, no need for complicated philosophy. Our own brain, our own heart is our temple, the philosophy is kindness.
- Dalai Lama
How often do we over complicate things? I know when I was thinking of this blog, and doing it, or one like it, I struggled over weather or not to make it about recovery, or just positive thoughts. Since I am in a constant state of recovery, and pray that I remain in this state, I went with the recovery idea. It's my way of doing some service work, and maintaining my personal recovery.
It also meant I need to keep it simple. I've decided that the time that it was taking me to look for images has thwarted my daily posting. So, while I might have images, now and again. I'm not going to make images a priority. If things in my daily life change where I can have a little more time for posts, I will add them to the posts. :)
Today, I'm glad that I can keep things simple, and be happy with the simple things.
Sharing Good thoughts we may have thunked and we wish to share. We have found that our Happiness isn't in a bottle, pill, money, or in another person. It's simply a state of mind. It's not always easy to get to. Contentment is hard in our western society. - These are our thoughts on it.

Maintaining Happiness
I've had a busy week, job searching, and that kind of thing. IT's not that my head was in a bad space, I just wasn't up to writing, or sitting down at the computer for anything serious.
I guess the point being, is that we need to know our limitations. Moderation is something that I've had a hard time with in my life, and I'm sure others that suffer from addictive personalities have the same thing going on with their lives.
I saw this quote on my iGoogle page, and I found it useful.
Do not overrate what you have received, nor envy others.
- Buddhist Quote
