Now let's go over The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success and see how we can apply them in our lives.
1) The Law of Pure Potentiality
This law is based on the fact that we are, in our essential state, pure consciousness. Pure consciousness is pure potentiality; it is the field of all possibilities and infinite creativity. When you discover your essential nature and know who you really are, in that knowing itself is the ability to fulfill any dream you have, because you are the eternal possibility, the immeasurable potential of all that was, is and will be. This law could also be called the Law of Unity, because underlying the infinite diversity of life is the unity of one all-pervasive spirit. There is no separation between you and this field of energy. One way to access the field is through the daily practice of silence, meditation and non-judgment. Spending time in nature will also give you access to the qualities inherent in the field: infinite creativity, freedom and bliss.
- Deepak ChopraI don't know about you, but man, this sounds complicated doesn't it? Or a bit confusing at first. I broke it down like this. Our brain waves, our "soul", for lack of a better term, is the part of us that isn't tangible, but the part of us that makes us who we are. Our bodies, are just vessels that hold it in place to be usable in the physical world. Our souls, or our thoughts, are purely just electrical impulses, or chemical reactions, depending on how you look at it. When we take the time to just sit, and be, we can tune into this thought, or power, better then when we're agitated, or busy.
A simple thing to do, but a habit that I have had a hard time to practice.
I will take a few moments to listen to my inner voice today.

ReplyDeleteThanks for posting this. As you know many of us coming out of active addiction start on a spiritual path. Not a path too a specific religious cannon, but a path to a Power greater then ourselves. Just wanted to say thanks so much for posting this.
Thanks. - I just hope that people don't think that I'm bashing their version of God.
