Marriage is nature's way of keeping us from fighting with strangers.- Alan King
Then we have the voices who cry for sex and more sex; who bewail the institution of marriage; who think that most of the troubles of the race are traceable to sex causes. ... We want to stay out of this controversy. We do not want to be the arbiter of anyone's sex conduct. - Page 69 of the Big Book.I don't usually want to post time sensitive information on the blog, but I did see something today, that most likely was sparked by the Gay Marriages in NY just recently. I see it as another way of saying, "Live And Let Live"
Don't like gay marriages? Don't get one.
Don't like abortions? Don't get one.
Don't like sex? Don't have it.
Don't like drugs? Don't do them.
Don't like porn? Don't watch it.
Don't like alcohol? Don't drink it.
Don't like guns? Don't buy one.
Don't like your rights taken away?
Don't take away someone else's.
Today I won't try to judge others, as I don't like to be judged myself.
